VIRGINIE JAQUIERY

Holder of a lawyer’s license, Virginie Jaquiery has been with the Firm since 2010. After beginning as a trainee lawyer and later as an associate, she became a partner on September 1, 2016.
She also serves as a lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the University of Geneva, teaches at the Geneva School of Social Work, and acts as Deputy Judge at the Court for the Protection of Adults and Children.
She completed her legal studies at the Faculty of Law of the University of Geneva, where she obtained her law degree in 2002 and an LL.M. in International Humanitarian Law in 2004. She then worked as an assistant at the same faculty, focusing on personal and family law, matrimonial and inheritance law, as well as sports law.
In recent years, Virginie Jaquiery has specialized in matters relating to child protection and has published several works in this field.
Deeply attuned to social issues, she primarily practices in family law (divorce, separation, parentage, inheritance, and protection of adults and children), social insurance law, immigration law, and criminal law.
In keeping with her values, she is also actively involved in Geneva’s non-profit community and currently chairs the associations SOS Femmes and Juris Conseil Junior.
