ÉLISABETH GABUS-THORENS

Attorney Elisabeth Gabus-Thorens has been practicing law since 1984. She began her career as an assistant, then as a lecturer at the University of Geneva, teaching general private law until 1996.
Starting in 1996, she practiced as an independent attorney and has also been active in politics.
In parallel, she served as a member and later Vice President of the Cantonal Tax Appeals Commission from 1995 to 2008, and then as Deputy Judge on the Administrative Appeals Commission (tax matters) until 2011.
From 1995 to 2001, she held the position of Deputy Judge at the Justice of the Peace and the Guardianship Court. She later served as Deputy Judge at the Civil Chamber of the Geneva Court of Justice until 2024.
Attentive to the needs of a diverse clientele, she is committed to using her expertise to help each client assert their rights and resolve complex situations with dedication and perseverance, while maintaining respect for all parties involved.
